I have done a few 4x6 art journal pages the past couple of days. I am signed up for a series of swaps for these. I enjoy using this size to create things, much more than an ATC, inchie, or a larger size. It works for me. I made 6 pages, but am only posting 3.
This first one is for a swap. The challenge was to do a magazine collage. I had so much fun doing this. It was therapeutic. The images came from Flea Market Style, Cottage Style, Romantic Homes, and Better Homes & Gardens DIY.

And I had to play with the acrylic paints, of course. I like the way this turned out. The picture looks like there are white splotches, but really, it is silver sheen. I am sending this one as a RAK to the host of the art journal page swaps.

ReplyDeleteI had so much fun! It was fun to go through the magazines several times and see something different each time. I plan to do more. It helped me forget about our situation for a bit, which is a good thing.
